WHY I WANT TO DO THIS BLOG
I find it despicable and offensive that our young military men & women are being sacrificed to perpetuate the agenda of an ego maniac President! This man, and I use the term loosely, has repeatedly shown that his agenda, from before his election, has been primarily to bolster and promote his self image! It is my intent to present writings/opinions from a variety of sources to provide a broad and diverse perspective on George W. Bush's manipulations & deceptions that have led, and continue to keep, this country into dangerous circumstances!

- Twent one year (retired 11/1977) US Air Force Veteran, twenty two years serving my brother & sister Veterans as a Local Veterans Employment Representative (LVER). Retired 12/2001, currently volunteering with the Retiree's Activities Office (RAO) at Hill AFB Utah. I have a son who is currently on active duty in the US Army, and served one tour in Iraq. Obviously, I have a life-long affiliation/connection with military service members and Veterans, and as a result I'm compelled to reveal my position on this contentious, and contrived war in Iraq! *************************************** My philosophy, so well defined by Theodore Roosevelt! "Patriotism means to stand by the country. It does not mean to stand by the President or any other public official save exactly to the degree in which he himself stands by the country. It is patriotic to support him insofar as he efficiently serves the country. It is unpatriotic not to oppose him to the exact extent that by inefficiency or otherwise he fails in his duty to stand by the country."
